- "W.W. Milstead Services Held - Water Valley, Miss. (Special)---Services for William Walter Milstead, who died at his home in Water Valley Monday after an illness of three years, were held at the Water Valley Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr Milstead, who was 71, was a locomotive engineer for the Illinois Central Railroad prior to his illness. He was a lifelong resident of Yalobusha County. Mr. Milstead was a Presbyterian and a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Annie Mae Milstead of Water Valley; three sons, L.O. Milstead of Dallas, Norman H. Milstead of Atlanta and W.J. Milstead of Water Valley; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Carter of Water Valley, Mrs. Joyce Heatherly of Water Valley, and Mrs. Celestine Johnson of Taylor; and a brother, Norman L. Milstead of Water Valley."
